Resumen
En este trabajo se lleva a cabo un examen de los principales elementos que caracterizan el sistema de jubilaciones en Francia. Ello da paso al análisis de los hitos reformadores por los que ha ido atravesando el mismo con el objetivo último de lograr la sostenibilidad y equilibrio necesarios de su sistema de protección social. Los problemas de financiación, tal cual acontece en otros tantos países europeos entre los que se incluye España, urgen medidas para su salvaguarda. La aproximación al sistema de jubilaciones francés desde la óptica española permite fijar paralelismo y disonancias acerca de las reglas adoptadas en ambos Estados con respecto a esta cuestión. Siendo plenamente conscientes de que en ambos casos se asiste a una materia viva, en la que los procesos de reformas continuarán en los próximos meses, se hace más necesario su estudio.
In this work we have carried out an examination of the main elements that characterize the retirement system in France, from there to analyze the main processes of reforms through which it has been going through, in order to achieve sustainability and balance necessary to guarantee its viability, taking into account the problems that it presents in its financing, as it happens in many other European countries, as is the case, also, of Spain. That is why we wanted to analyze the French retirement system from the Spanish perspective, in order to study the convergence or divergence in the measures adopted in both States with respect to this issue. Being aware that in both cases, we are witnessing a living matter, in which the reform processes will continue in the coming months, in order to be able to solve the financial problems presented by the pension systems in these two.
