Abstract
This paper explores the complex and dynamic causes that give rise to the working poor phenomenon in Latin America. The purpose is to analyse the underlying factors that contribute to the proliferation of this problem at a regional level and propose efficient policy measures to guarantee income and revert this phenomenon.
