Trapped by the Ghost of the Past: Amortization and Problems concerning the Collective Dimension in Hungarian Labour Law

Abstract

Following a summary of the changes in the Hungarian political and labour law systems, this study reviews the changes in the regulation of the important collective labour law provisions codified in connection with the new social system. This paper shows how the joint presence of the trade union and the works council at the employer level causes functional confusion and problems of conflict of interest.
