Abstract
Even in the public sector, the advancement of new technologies is reshaping the organisation of work, necessitating that trade unions reconsider their role and actions. Social partners are called upon to face new challenges, which aim not only at redefining their roles but also at modelling digital work practices. The proliferation of information and communication technology (ICT) requires, first and foremost, new forms of union participation.
