Abstract
The present paper discusses the experience of the International Doctoral School in Human Capital Formation and Labour Relations at the University of Bergamo (Italy), promoted by the Association of International and Comparative Studies in Labour and Industrial Relations (ADAPT) and the Center for Quality of Teaching and Learning (CQIA). Both organisations have shown commitment to the innovative nature of industrial PhDs, also in light of the newly-issued national provisions.
