Abstract
This research examines agricultural labour through the lens of the sustainable development model set out in the UN 2030 Agenda. In this context, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2023–2027 introduced a new element: social conditionality, which aims to establish a fairer balance among environmental, economic, and social values. Although the measure carries significant symbolic weight, it also presents several critical issues, particularly in relation to its transposition by the Italian legislator.
