Migration is one of the distinctive features of our globalized world and it is something inherent to the human being since the beginning of time. Whether we like it or not, we are going to be a receiving country, a transit country or a country of origin, or several of them at the same time. Migration from a legal point of view is a social phenomenon, but it could be said that it is natural or innate to the human being, therefore the importance of its knowledge and study, whether we want it or not, migration will exist. It is necessary to know the concept of migration, as well as the factors that influence it, such as climate change, demographic change, socio-political factors, armed conflicts… The example of African migration that worries Europe so much has been discussed. Of the 25 million Africans who left their native countries to seek better opportunities elsewhere, almost 20 million chose another country on their own continent as their destination. The United Nations have achieved the first global compact on migration, the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, key to contemporary migration policy.
