Abstract
La violencia de género es un grave problema con cifras alarmantes. Las mujeres afectadas enfrentan obstáculos significativos en el acceso y mantenimiento del empleo, esencial para su integración social y autonomía económica necesaria para liberarse del agresor. Este artículo examina la magnitud del problema y los derechos vigentes destinados a mejorar la situación laboral y económica de estas mujeres. Se evidencia que las ayudas actuales son insuficientes y se evalúan las iniciativas implementadas para su reincorporación al mercado laboral, subrayando la urgencia de políticas más efectivas que aseguren su protección integral.
Gender-based violence is a serious problem with alarming numbers. Women affected face significant obstacles in accessing and maintaining employment, which is essential for their social integration and economic autonomy necessary to free themselves from the aggressor. This article examines the magnitude of the problem and the rights in place to improve the employment and economic situation of these women. It shows that current assistance is insufficient and evaluates the initiatives implemented for their reincorporation into the labour market, underscoring the urgency of more effective policies to ensure their comprehensive protection.
